This policy explains how London Tattoo College Ltd ("we", "us", "the College") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website, book a course, or use the student portal. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect
- Booking & account details - your name, email address, phone number and postal address.
- Payment information - processed securely by Stripe (and Klarna where chosen). We do not see or store your full card details; we receive confirmation of payment and the last details needed to manage your booking.
- Course records - the courses you book, attendance, documents and certificates, and any notes relevant to your training.
- Enquiries - anything you send us through the contact form, email or phone.
- Technical data - basic information your browser sends (such as pages viewed) needed to run the site and keep it secure.
How we use it, and our legal basis
- To provide your course (performance of our contract with you): taking your booking, payment and balance, running the student portal, issuing documents and certificates, and communicating about your course.
- To register you with our awarding body (CPD) so your course can be accredited (performance of contract / legitimate interest).
- To answer enquiries and provide support (legitimate interest).
- To meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
- For occasional updates or marketing only where you have opted in (consent) - you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We only share what is necessary, with providers who process data on our behalf under contract:
- Stripe and Klarna - to take payments.
- Supabase - secure database and file storage for bookings, accounts and documents.
- Our email provider - to send booking confirmations and course communications.
- Our awarding body (CPD) - to register and accredit your course.
- Google Maps - if you view our map or use "Get directions".
We never sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and account data for as long as you have a relationship with us and for as long afterwards as we are required to for legal, accounting and accreditation purposes (typically up to seven years for financial records). Course certificates may be kept longer so we can re-issue them on request. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with them.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and similar storage needed to run the site and keep you signed in to the student portal. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. You can also withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these, email us at admissions@londontattoocollege.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
